Thanks to Peter and his team’s tenacity, intelligence, and executional excellence, Rocket Lab has not only succeeded at putting multiple rockets into space from New Zealand, the company’s valuation has shot well past One Billion US Dollars, they’ve won numerous awards and are now preparing to also launch into space from the United States. And along the way New Zealand has also become the 11th country to reach space.

In this episode, I talk with another innovative and talented entrepreneur – Annette Presley. After growing up in South Auckland, Annette has gone on to achieve impressive success in business in both New Zealand and Australia.
Annette’s entrepreneurial acumen led to her being selected as a judge on the 2006 TV programme – Dragon’s Den. With former husband Malcolm Dick, she built and sold two leading communications companies – ‘Call Australia’ and then ‘CallPlus’ of which sold in 2015 for $250 million.
In 2016 Annette was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business and women. Most recently she has been heavily involved with the charity she founded – ‘Elicit: The Dream Catching Academy’, which works to help young girls to change their lives by dreaming big.
